 Oswiecim is a city of 50-thousand population, located at the estuary of the Sola to Vistula River in the southern Oswiecimska Valley. The city is geographically and historically connected, from its foundation, with the Silesian region, i.e. from the beginning of the 12th c. it was a part of Silesian principalities, which became in the 14th c. a separate principality of developing economical significance. In the period between the 15th and 18th c. it was a strategic trade centre with Silesia, Czech and Prussia.

Monument lived st. Faustyny it takes care (keep vigil) at monastery -
all the time s. Faustyna. It remember, that it lived here and it
worked, god cult of charity among people promulgating, it has met which
